Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code: A Commentary by Prof. Ram Naresh Chaudhary and Sunil Kumar Chaudhary is an authoritative book on Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006, and Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code Rules, 2016.
Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 has repealed the Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950, and the Uttar Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1901, along with 37 other enactments that had become obsolete and were too complicated to comply with in their entirety. The new Revenue Code strikes a fine balance between conserving natural heritage and meeting the demand for land for development. It also protects the interests of weaker sections of society. The Code harmonises with the use of modern techniques for demarcation and digitalisation of revenue records and the procedure of the Revenue Courts.
Key Features:
The book will be immensely useful to students of LL.B., aspirants of U.P. Judicial Services, revenue officers, administrators and anyone interested in knowing about Uttar Pradesh Land Laws. The book undoubtedly stands as a valuable addition to any library's collection.
