- Subscriptions to The Weekly Law Reports run from January to December. New subscribers will duly receive parts published since the beginning of the subscription year.
- As a special service WLR subscribers receive a thrice yearly Cumulative Index, "The Pink Book", published in April, August and December; this not only facilitates case retrieval but also provides references to other major series of reports.
- At the end of the year, subscribers also receive an annual index for binding purpose.

- The Weekly Law Reports are published in approximately 45-48 parts and designed to be bound in 4 separate volumes at the end of each year.
- Volume 1 (published throughout the year) covers cases of general interest, while Volume 2 (January to June) and Volume 3 (July to December) cover the cases which will subsequently appear with the reporter's notes of argument in The Law Reports. Volume 1 binds into two volumes at the year end.
