The Weekly Law Reports (WLR) - 2025 Annual Subscription

The Weekly Law Reports cover cases heard in the House of Lords, Privy Council, Court of Appeal, all Divisions of the High Court, and the relevant decisions of Ecclesiastical (religious) Courts, the Employment Appeal Tribunal, and the Court of Justice of the European Community.

• Published by the ICLR since 1953.
• The most authoritative Law Report of English case-law precedents preferred by legal practitioners in UK and Commonwealth countries.

Format :

• Subscriptions to The Weekly Law Reports run from January to December. New subscribers will duly receive parts published since the beginning of the subscription year.
• As a special service WLR subscribers receive a thrice yearly Cumulative Index, "The Pink Book", published in April, August and December; this not only facilitates case retrieval but also provides references to other major series of reports.
• At the end of the year, subscribers also receive an annual index for binding purpose.

Subscriptions :

• The Weekly Law Reports are published in approximately 45-48 parts and designed to be bound in 4 separate volumes at the end of each year.
• Volume 1 (published throughout the year) covers cases of general interest, while Volume 2 (January to June) and Volume 3 (July to December) cover the cases which will subsequently appear with the reporter's notes of argument in The Law Reports. Volume 1 binds into two volumes at the year end.
