Construction projects are built on contracts. Yet most professionals only read the contract after something has gone wrong.
Constructive Counsel is here to change that.
Written for lawyers, engineers, contract managers, claims professionals, and project leaders, this book explains the legal concepts, commercial realities, and practical decisions that shape construction projects. It shows you how to recognise risk early, understand why disputes arise, and make better decisions long before anyone starts talking about arbitration.
Covering the full lifecycle of a construction contract, each chapter goes beyond the black letter law to explain how issues unfold on real projects, what evidence matters when things go wrong, and what experienced teams do differently to stay out of trouble.
No legalese. No academic jargon. No filler. Just practical construction law with teeth, and the occasional punchline.
Whether you're negotiating your first EPC contract, leading a major project, or preparing for arbitration, this book will help you think more clearly, manage risk more confidently, and stay one step ahead of the dispute.
Review
Construction law rarely feels this approachable. A thoughtful and practical guide for anyone working in the construction industry.
