Every lawyer waits. Outside court, between two boards, on the train to a tribunal. This book is what to do with that time.
The Jurist's Crossword: Foundations is built entirely out of decided law. Every answer traces back to a judgment, a statutory provision or a doctrine you have argued or will argue. Nothing here can be solved by general knowledge alone, which is precisely the point.
Each puzzle carries its own answer key and a source note setting out the case, the citation and why the point matters. A solved grid therefore leaves you with something usable the next morning in chambers. The grids themselves are constructed to international standards, fully connected and fully crossed, with no filler entries and no repetitions across the book. Foundations is the first volume. It is where the series begins.
