Devolution

This study outlines the general principles of devolution, and explores the nature of parliamentary institutions. It goes on to analyse the issue of devolution in the context of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, focusing on the nature of the recently formed assemblies, the co-ordination of policy within the UK, and the issue of resolving devolution disputes.
