Cross Examination of a withness is not a monolithic exercise but it is a series of goal oriented exercise. Cross Examination is a goal specific process and must be so specific and so clear that the cross examiner if asked at any time without notice can identify the factual point he is seeking to make. An organized presentation that is broken down into several individual points invites attention.
