Concise Oxford English Dictionary

This revised edition contains hundreds of extra entries for words and meanings which have entered the English language since the Eleventh Edition of the dictionary was published in 2004. There is also a new section in the appendices, English Uncovered, which provides a wealth of interesting information, such as the most common words in English, how lexicographers keep track of developments in the language, and some of the ways in which spelling is changing.
