A National Law Review of international standard, a forum for debate on legal issues of national importance, that promises to bring together the best legal minds of India. This is the first of its kind venture in India and is yet another effort by Eastern Book Company to further legal thought and learning and encourage the development of legal literature in India. Edict's initial venture - the recently organised National Conference on 'Judicial Review - the Current Controversy', attended by Judges of the Supreme Court, Senior Advocates, Vice-Chancellors, Director and Professors of law, and law students, brought together on a single platform some of the leaders of legal thought in India. The conference provoked a lot of serious debate and threw up issues and insights into the topic. The proceedings of the conference will be published at a later date.
