Reviews

I have had the pleasure of not just opposing Adarsh, the author of this book, in several matters, but also working with him on cases. The more I get to know the man, the pleasure turns from pleasure to honour, albeit when he is on the same side as me. The pleasure turns to fear when he is the opposing counsel. My felicity turned to adulation when Adarsh presented me his first book on patent law. Now with this new book on patent law, which I have only briefly browsed (Lest I be accused of copyright violations), my adulation has turned to veneration. Of late I have authored two books of my own. I will not name them lest I be accused of narcissism (an attribute I have made my own) and self-aggrandisement. I therefore know how arduous a task writing a book is, especially for a counsel who has a day job as a practising attorney, a job that Adarsh has. Publishing a book and sharing your knowledge with lesser mortals (like myself) is an act of selflessness. Many hesitate to venture in that direction.  I congratulate Adarsh on this book and hope, wish and pray he will continue to be the beacon illuminating the field of law with his knowledge and experience.

- Chander M. Lall,
Senior Advocate

Following the outstanding casebook on patent law, Adarsh presents another gem. This book is a true delight to read, skillfully delivering a comprehensive overview of patent law in language so clear and accessible that it engages all readers - even those new to the field - and has the potential to transform them into experts. This accomplishment is no small feat, as it combines depth and clarity in a way that complements the earlier work and invites readers into the subject with enthusiasm.

- Satish Parasaran,
Senior Advocate
