The book entitled Dynamics of Political Theory The Current Analysis deals with the fundamental concepts and issues of political theory which constitute the core area of political science. It studies the structure and functioning of the state governments, interstate organisations, political theories, etc. The book seeks to formulate principles of good governance and analyses the various issues related to political science on the basis of empirical outlook. The book also highlights the ways and methods adopted by present-day political scientists for the study of the subject.It is an endeavour to state precisely and discuss lucidly the fundamental concepts, issues, and problems of politics. Due care has been taken to maintain academic objectivity in evaluating various concepts and issues. About The Author

Biswaranjan Mohanty did his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the Centre for the Study of Political Science, School of Social Sciences (II), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His research topic was Problems of Displacement and Rehabilitation of Tribals A Case Study of Upper Kolab River Dam Project of Orissa. He has also qualified the JRF at the NET Examination of the UGC.Dr. Mohanty has the experience of working on several projects related to education and children. He has presented papers at national seminars and conferences. He has to his credit several papers published in journals of repute. He has authored many books. Presently he is working as an Associate Fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences, Women Division, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. His areas of interest include education, social development, child-related issues, gender inequality, decentralization, Panchayati Raj Institutions, rehabilitation and resettlement, governance and South Asian Cooperation and international relations.
