Satyamev Jayate means Truth alone triumphs. It is a mantra from the ancient Indian scripture Mundaka Upanishad. Upon independence of India, it was adopted as the national motto of India. It is inscribed in script at the base of the national emblem.
The emblem and the words "Satyamev Jayate" are inscribed on one side of all Indian currency. People in India have developed more trust in the courts in India. With a history and reputation of taking bold decisions, courts are the hope and strength of commoners in the country. A court of law does not work on emotions or popular sentiment.
Neither does it matter whether you're rich or poor. It pronounces judgment based on Law, facts, logic and the evidence produced. The Indian judiciary has time and again proved through its judgments that Truth always wins.
This book contains the judgments of courts which reflects that there may be delay in justice, but justice is never denied to common man and Truth Always Wins.
