Increased activity on the internet has led to internet intermediaries such as social media and e-commerce platforms becoming household names. But with the increased role played by such intermediaries, commission of acts which violate another individual or entity's rights or amount to an offence has increased. In this background, litigation involving Internet Intermediaries has increased.
