The journey may seem long we are sure to reach the destination. The International Conference Legal Aid: Catalyst for Social Change organized by Campus Law Centre, Legal Aid Society is a small step towards achieving justice to all. Faculty of Law took the initiative in mid 60s towards extending legal assistance to the indigent.
Today, decades after the said initiative, the legal aid movement has achieved tremendous progress. I am hopeful that the conference would instill a new vigor and spirit into the legal aid movement across the nation. The Legal Aid Society of Campus Law Center instilled a new spirit of service among the students of our department.
