Opinions about the book :
The book "Courts on Military Law" jointly authored by Col. G.K. Sharma (Retd.) and Col. M.S. Jaswal is an accomplished treatise by the authors who have not only very painstakingly compiled various facets of Military Law but also in one compilation have presented to the Readers the entire case Law on the subject which undoubtedly shall prove useful to the members of the Armed Forces as well as the Bar and the Bench, which even though seldom comes across cases relating to Military Law, yet whenever the occasion arises, feel handicapped in being deprived of a really good book on the subject. A reading of the manuscript clearly reveals to me that the Authors have very intelligently collected and collated the entire material on the subject and put it to meaningful use.

"I have gone through the book titled "Courts on Military Law" Authored by Col. G.K. Sharma (Retd.) and Col. M.S. Jaswal, Deputy Judge Advocate General (Army). The Judgements compiled under various provisions of the Army Act and the Army Rules give a detailed insight into the aim and object of the law governing the military personnel. . . . The meticulous compilation of the judgements by the authors is indeed commendable. The book could well be termed as an 'Encyclopaedia' in the field of military jurisprudence."
