EBC showcases unique range of titles at the 19th World Book Fair
Eastern Book Company, a name well established in the Indian legal publishing industry, participated at the most awaited annual event- 19th World Book fair held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, from the 31st January till the 7th February 2010. The company displayed at Stall No. 129-134, Hall No.1 of the venue.
With a current list of 550 authoritative and well known titles that includes students' texts, practitioners' guides and law reports and digests, EBC showcased its entire range of print and electronic publications at this prestigious platform. The company also took the opportunity to launch some of its much-awaited new and exciting products.
The company launched its much anticipated all new Web Edition of the immensely popular legal research tool - SCC OnLine®. The SCC OnLine® Web Edition has an extensive database of Indian law, statute law and other material, with a high performance search engine and our familiar user-friendly interface.
The Business Law Reports, the specialist series of ICLR, were also introduced to the audience. Designed to meet the needs of commercial lawyers and those working within the business community, the series will focus on key areas that include all the cases that really matter on Arbitration, Company & Commercial, Insolvency and Intellectual Property Law.
Further, the resplendence of the occasion magnified with the release of the Premium Edition of Supreme Court Yearly Digest 2009, authored by Surendra Malik and Sumeet Malik. It is a light weight handy book with soft leather binding and text pages printed on bible paper to make reference to Supreme Court Cases easy.
One of the other attraction of the release list was T.K. Tope's Constitutional law of India by Justice Sujata V. Manohar, also regarded as the best single volume commentary on the Constitution of India. The premium edition of Neither Roses Nor Thorns, autobiography of the legendary Supreme Court Judge, Justice H.R. Khanna, was yet another highlight of the event. In his forthright autobiography, Justice Khanna, lays bare the influences that shaped his life and made him the great man that he is.
