This book delves into the features of the landmark legislation, the National Food Security Act, 2013 and adopts a multidisciplinary approach to the pertinent issue of food security. The authors have discussed a wide range of issues, contending that in India, food security must be recognized in accordance with the International law which recognizes “right to food” as a fundamental right.
