The present edition incorporates in the text amendments up to the Constitution (One-hundredth Amendment) Act, 2015 and other Acts such as Act 52 of 2006, Act 16 of 2010, Act 15 of 2011 and Act 6 of 2014. The Constitution (Ninety-ninth Amendment) Act, 2014 has been held to be unconstitutional and void by the Supreme Court in Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Assn.  v. Union of India, (2016) 5 SCC 1, which further held that the pre-Amendment position stands restored and revived.  Consequently, in law, the said Amendment never came into effect.
